About the Real Estate Institute of ACT

The Real Estate Institute of the Australian Capital Territory (REIACT) which was formed to represent the views and needs of the ACT real estate industry. 

What does REIACT do?

REIACT represents the views and professional needs of the real estate industry.
Some of the activities include:

  • Representation to government
  • Setting and maintaining ethical standards
  • Promoting the real estate industry and its services to the wider community.
  • Liaise with organisations such as API, PCA, HIA and MBA.

Introducing the REIACT Council

The Council is the governing body of REIACT and represents the views of the real estate profession in the ACT. The council promotes excellence in real estate and enhances the institute's corporate focus and objectives to meet industry and community needs. 

Council Members bring a wide variety of perspectives and demonstrate a commitment to upholding the mission and goals of REIACT. They promote membership, participate in REIACT networks, and lead the way in setting and maintaining ethical standards within the industry.

Council meetings are held at least six times per year to discuss the strategic direction of ACT real estate and enhance the standard of education, knowledge, professional development and business practice for REIACT members and the wider community.

Meet the Chapters

REIACT chapters provide members with a terrifc opportunity to connect with others in the real estate profession. Chapter members meet regularly and collaborate to advance the profession and help shape new activities.

The Young Practioners Chapter is aimed at ACT real estate professionals who are 35 years and younger or have less than three years real estate experience. This chapter provides invaluable networking opportunities, leadership skills and business skills.
 

REIACT Members

REIACT members are represented by a real estate institute that upholds the professionalism and integrity of the industry, the ACT government and the community.
There are a number of benefits to membership including access to a range of training opportunities, ACT real estate networking, industry updates and involvement in lobbying the ACT Government on issues that impact the real estate industry.
