REIACT Members get Real Estate ACT

And they get so much more than Real Estate.  ACT members know they are represented by a real estate institute that upholds the professionalism and integrity of the industry in the eyes of business, the ACT government and the community.

 Members are divided into two categories within the real estate institute:

Institute Member

The Institute member category comprises:

  • Firms actively engaged in Real Estate practice
  • Individuals who are actively engaged in Real Estate practice within a firm that is an Institute member.

Institute Associates
                
The Institute Associates member category comprises:

  • Organisations and individuals who are not eligible upon application to be Real Estate Institute members or Practitioner members;
  • Organisations and individuals who are actively engaged in an associated calling and who have been admitted for the time being as an Institute Associate by the council;
  • Organisations and individuals who are actively engaged in an Associated Calling; and
  • Organisations and individuals who have been admitted for the time being as an Institute Associate by the Council.
  • Practitioner Member


The Institute Practitioner member category comprises:

  • Persons who are employed or are engaged by a Firm that is a Real Estate Institute Member and who hold a current registration or License under the Agents Act 2003 and who undertake Real Estate Practice with that Institute Member; or
  • Persons who are employed by a Firm that is an Real Estate Institute Member in the capacity as a “manager” (by whatever title) who meets such criteria for experience and qualification as the Council may prescribe from time to time, if any;
