The REIACT Auctioneering Championships are an amazing opportunity to celebrate expertise across Canberra, provide a platform for upcoming Auctioneers to develop their skillset and career in the real estate industry as well as participate in the Australasian Auctioneering Championships (AUSTROS).

The process for participating in the Auctioneering Championships is as follows:
1. Download and complete the nomination entry form by clicking on the nomination prospectus cover image.
2. Return the completed entry forms and receipt of payment (where applicable) by 4:00pm, Thursday 21 March 2024 by email to REIACT (reception@reiact.com.au).
3. The order of appearance draw will take place and competitors advised.
4. Details of the property to be ‘auctioned’ will be emailed to competitors at 3:00pm on the Thursday prior to Competition Day.
5. Physical inspection of property by competitors will take place on the day before competition.
6. Competition Day! There will be a briefing beforehand, feedback afterwards – the two top senior auctioneers who will compete at the 2024 REIA Australasian Auctioneering Championships in Tasmania will be announced on the day with the winners for both novice and seniors to be announced at the Gala dinner in August.
Important Dates
Monday 12 February 2024 – NOMINATIONS OPEN
Thursday 21March 2024 – NOMINATIONS CLOSE – completed entry forms must be submitted online and payment received by REIACT by 4:00pm.
Thursday 4 April 2024 – Competition property is announced to the entrants
Wednesday 10 April 2025 – Property walkthrough
Thursday 11 April 2025 – COMPETITION DAY
14 – 16 May 2024 – REIACT representatives chosen on the competition day will compete at the 2025 REIA Australasian Auctioneering Championships in Adelaide, South Australia.
