The Real Estate Institute of the ACT (REIACT) is committed to providing opportunities to develop and enhance Canberra’s real estate industry workforce.

The REIACT is seeking expressions of interest from Canberra based real estate businesses to participate in subsidised training courses to address skill needs in their agency.

The training courses, to be provided by local registered training organisation Wisdom, will address key industry needs such as customer service, management, supervision, training/mentoring and licensing skills.

As the real estate business/employer, if you would like to express your interest, please complete the online form here http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/XMSS36B by 31st May 2013. Upon receipt of the expression of interest, a Wisdom team member will be in contact with you to progress the application process.

Migrant and Refugee Settlement Services Project

Investors can help!

We need to help refugees find homes - and increase the number of accomodation rentals from the private rental market available to Canberra’s newest community members.

Investors purchase properties for many reasons. The opportunity now exists for those who may have an altruistic nature and/or a sense of social justice to also realise these expectations through their residential property investment. Making money and helping others are not mutally exclusive.

Canberra has a big heart - are you one of these investors who can help and give someone a ‘fair’ go?

Whether your property is rented with an Agency or you rent it out privately, you will receive full market rent and a guaranteed bond next time your property is vacant.

For more information please contact the Migrant and Refugee Settlement Services

A community initiative by the ACT and Region Chamber of Commerce, the Real Estate Institute of the ACT, and the Migrant and Refugee Settlement Services of the ACT Inc.
