Michael Kumm

Michael’s real estate career spans more than three decades. For twenty years Michael owned and managed one of Canberra’s most progressive and respected real estate agencies, Capital Real Estate in Manuka. Michael has earned a reputation for being focused on providing total professionalism with a commitment to excellence. He believes that the key to success in real estate is really listening to a clients needs, then applying creative marketing, thorough follow-up coupled with courteous and considered advice. Contributing to the real estate industry is important to Michael and he has served as a board member of the Australian Real Estate Institute and was a member of the Agents Board of the ACT for over a decade. Michael was made a Life Member of the Real Estate Institute of the ACT and a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Australia in recognition of his contributions to the industry and the Institute, including being President of REIACT from 1995 to 1997 and then again from 2012 till 2015.



Stan Platis

Executive Director and Head of Growth Dexar 

As a member of Dexar’s leadership group, Stan’s passion for excellence sees him work closely with leading real estate sales performers across Australia. Stan is a Director of the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) and a Director of the Real Estate Institute of the ACT (REIACT). From 2002 to 2005 Stan served as President of REIACT and consulted broadly with the ACT Government on legislative reform. In 2016 Stan was awarded life membership to REIACT.


John Faulks

John is a Senior Manager at Nexis Accountants and Business Advisors, a firm based in Belconnen. John has worked as an accountant for over fifteen years and has provided valuable service to many clients in the real estate and property development sectors. John is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree

Craig Bright

Total Property Management

Craig Bright has been awarded an Associate Diploma with The Real Estate Institute of Australia and is also a registered Associate with the Real Estate Institute of the ACT and NSW. In addition to this, he has extensive experience with many of the major projects within the ACT. Craig has also been a member of the ACT Housing Joint Venture Panel and past representative on the ACT Business Consultative Panel. He is committed to professional service and has an intimate knowledge of the ACT market. Craig is well known throughout the Canberra Region and has an extensive client network with which he works very closely. Craig is the current REIA National Board Director representing the REIACT.

Tom ellis


Tom Ellis

Bertram Ellis Real Estate

Tom is the principal of Bertram Ellis Real Estate and has been selling property in the Canberra district for over twenty years. Tom first joined the REI ACT as a student member in the early 1990’s and now holds a position as a board member. During his career he has also had experience in residential property management with his family firm managing over 450 properties. Tom currently operates his business from the Chapman Shops were he has been located since 1998.



Hannah Gill

Hannah consults to other agencies and regularly speaks at conferences across Australia and internationally on topics of rent roll growth, client experience, and property management best practice. Hannah is passionate about professional development, having completed her Licence in Property, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and the Australian Institute of Company Directors course.

Benjamin is an experienced commercial real estate lawyer whose practice areas include the purchase and sale of both residential and commercial real estate, commercial leasing, unit title management and property development. Benjamin practices across multiple jurisdictions with a particular focus on both the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Canberra and joined Bradley Allen Love in 2012. He is a Committee Member of the API Young Property Professionals ACT Branch.

Sandra Masters has enjoyed a real estate career spanning over 13 years, and almost as many roles! Currently a full-time Sales Consultant and Auctioneer, as well as Licensee, Sales Manager, and trainer for the successful LJHooker Kippax team. Having won several local, state and international awards including Best Business Growth, Top Sales Person, Top Property Marketer and Top Business Support as well as previously ranking in the 50 highest performing LJHooker agents internationally, she is no stranger to sales. Real Estate is her passion and helping people is what gets her out of bed each day. Sandra saw joining the REI ACT Board an opportunity to give back to an industry that has given her so much.


Colin McIntyre

Mclntyre Property

Col McIntyre left butchering and started in real estate in 1997 with Cec Hodgkinson and has enjoyed it ever since. He went out on his own in 2007 with his wife Jo and a personal assistant. He is now proud to have three offices and twenty eight team members. Golf is Col’s passion, he started playing golf at 40 when his wife gave him a golf membership, and he hasn’t stopped since. Being with his family and friends is what he loves and Col enjoys nothing more than a BBQ on the weekend.
